Last Updated: 8 May 2025  |  Effective Date: 8 May 2025

1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions, the following terms have the meanings set out below:

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using our website or submitting an enquiry, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or submit any enquiry form.

Our services are intended for individuals aged 18 years or over with full legal capacity to enter a binding agreement under Thai law. If you are engaging services on behalf of another person or entity, you confirm you have authority to do so.

3. Service Description

Sukjai Law provides family legal services in Thailand, primarily serving clients located in Pattaya and the Chonburi province. Services are available in person at our Pattaya office and by video call for clients at a distance.

Our three service types are described in detail on the Solutions page of this website. The scope and fees for any engagement are confirmed in writing before work begins.

Service availability is subject to practitioner capacity. We will inform you promptly if we are unable to take on a particular matter.

4. User Responsibilities

As a user of this website and client of Sukjai Law, you agree to:

You agree not to misuse this website, attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, or use our contact channels for purposes unrelated to legitimate legal enquiries.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, structure, and design — is the property of Sukjai Law and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, republish, or distribute any content from this site without prior written consent.

Nothing in these terms grants you any right or licence to use the Sukjai Law name, logo, or any other marks associated with our practice.

6. Payment Terms

All fees are stated in Thai Baht (฿). Fees for consultation and mediation services are fixed and confirmed before the service commences. For full representation, a cost outline is provided at each stage before further work proceeds.

Payment methods accepted include bank transfer and cash. Specific payment instructions will be provided upon engagement confirmation.

Refunds for consultation fees are not available once the session has taken place. For mediation or representation services, any refund will be assessed on the basis of work completed at the time of termination.

7. Service-Specific Terms

Consultations: The consultation provides legal information and options relevant to your situation. It does not constitute formal legal representation. A written summary will be provided following the session.

Mediation support: Sukjai Law acts as a facilitator in mediation sessions. We do not represent either party exclusively in this context. Any agreement reached through mediation is the responsibility of the parties to it.

Full representation: Scope of representation is confirmed in a written engagement letter prior to commencement. Changes to scope will be agreed in writing before additional work is carried out.

8. Disclaimers

Information on this website is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. No reliance should be placed on website content as a substitute for qualified legal guidance specific to your circumstances.

While Sukjai Law brings skill and care to every matter, no legal practitioner can commit to specific outcomes in legal proceedings, and we make no such commitment. The result of any legal matter depends on facts, circumstances, and processes outside our control.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Thai law, Sukjai Law shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of this website or from services provided under these terms.

Our total liability for any direct loss arising from professional services shall not exceed the fees paid for the service in question, except in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Sukjai Law against any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of this website, or inaccurate information you have provided to us in the context of a legal engagement.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate an engagement by written notice. If you terminate a service engagement, fees for work completed to the date of termination remain payable.

Sukjai Law reserves the right to decline or discontinue services where there is a conflict of interest, a breakdown in the professional relationship, or non-payment of agreed fees.

12. Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any disputes arising from these terms or from services provided shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Chonburi Province, Thailand.

In the first instance, we encourage informal resolution by contacting us directly at [email protected]. We will endeavour to respond and resolve concerns within 14 working days.
